What the site offers

A skip link, labelled landmarks, full keyboard operation, and visible focus on every control.

An accessibility menu, opened from the Help button, with text size, dyslexia-friendly reading, high contrast, color vision modes, read-aloud, reduced motion, underlined links and a larger focus outline.

Day and night modes. The site follows your system setting until you choose.

Sound never plays until you press play. The 3D chest on the home page is decorative, respects reduced motion, and everything it offers is also available as plain buttons and links.

Known gaps

Some older photographs carry text inside the image. Each has a text alternative describing it.
